The Twins are one of three hardmode Mechanical Bosses. This boss is special, as there's two bosses instead of one, there's Retinazer and Spazmatism. They can be spawned during night using a Mechanical Eye. Other info can be found at the Terraria Wiki's page for The Twins.
Spazmatism is melee based, he will try to charge at you any time he can! In his first form, he's very similar to the Eye of Cthulhu, but every once in a while he shoots cursed flames. in his second form... He gets a flamethrower!
Retinazer is the ranger, he will stand back while shooting some lasers at you dealing decent damage, but he will charge at you when his brother does, too. In his second form, Retinazer will shoot arrays of lasers, they won't do much damage individually but if enough hit, you could be in big trouble!
